ADOPT A HORSE

• WHO:

  • Ideal for people who think they might want a horse but aren't quite ready to make that commitment.
  • For parents with children that want a horse but are not sure if the child's interest will fade after the financial commitment is made.
  • Anyone who loves horses.
  
  
  

• ADVANTAGES:

  • Adoptee gets the benefits of horse ownership without having to own the horse.
  • Adoptee gets to care for the horse.
  • Adoptee gets to ride the horse.
  • Adoptee may have the opportunity to show the horse
  • Adoptee and family have exclusive access (with the exception of the Vaughn's).
  
  
  

• HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • We have horses available that we do not want to sell that we are willing to match with people who want to develop a relationship with a horse. They have the same responsibility as anyone that owns a horse without the initial investment.
  • You will be responsible for the cost of the pasture board of $100.00 per month as well as any shoeing expenses that you may choose.
  • You will need your own tack.

  • Tennessee Walker Brood Mares and Mares in Foal
  • Tennessee Walker Foals, Weanlings, Yearlings, and Two Year Olds
  • Quarter Horses---Hunter Type
