Windwalker Farm

Windwalker Farm is family-owned and operated. The farm is located north of Louisville, in Ballardsville, Kentucky.

At Windwalker Farm, mutual respect is at the heart of the interaction between human and horse. Committed to resistance-free training methods, we work to understand and dissolve communication barriers between the horse and the trainer.

We do our best to nurture and protect the horse's trust in us. Our goal is that each horse we sell go to a home that is a good fit for his or her temperament.

We would like to thank all the people that have helped us start Windwalker Farm. These individuals have educated and guided us through these past six years.

Thank you Jane Meyer, the most knowledgeable Hunter Jumper Trainer we have ever met. Her knowledge is beyond our ability to comprehend. She trained our horses and corrected their bad habits like no one we have ever seen. (Sit down Monte Roberts and Pat Parelli). Jane accomplished in 7 hours what some say have taken them 100 hours to accomplish.

Thank you to Charlie Roach our friend and two time world champion Tennessee Walker Horse trainer. We appreciate his sharing his knowledge with us and he is the best farrier in the world. (We are a little bias, especially my daughter).

We want to thank Linda Hamrock and Linda Onstotte for their attention in caring for our horses as if they were their own and handling all of the foaling crisis throughout the 6 foaling seasons.

Thanks goes to George and Leslie Governo at Valley View Farms for Stephanie's lessons which have enabled her to compete in the 'A' level shows. They have developed our horses as they developed Stephanie's abilities.

Windwalker Farm welcomes Nora Rushing who has already impressed us with her training abilities as well as her knowledge. Nora offers training, showing and lessons to our friends at the farm.
